Dr. Zampell is fantastic! I went to her for a breast reduction and she worked with me and helped me every step of the way, from appealing to my insurance to cover it to checking on me post-surgery. I'm so happy with my results too! I went down 4 sizes and am very happy with my new, light-weighted breasts. I can't recommend her enough.

Why You Should Only Go to a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon?

Board certification represents a gold standard of excellence, experience, and knowledge. Board-certified plastic surgeons have met rigorous qualifications and examination criteria, representing their skill, training, background, and expertise as surgeons.

Look for a plastic surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This certification board is governed by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). From this organization, board certification indicates an average of sixteen years of post-high school education, which includes supervised training in reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery.

To even sit for a board examination, a plastic surgeon must meet demanding requirements. The examination itself is a  rigorous two-day oral examination of their surgical knowledge, skill, ethics, safety, and effectiveness in performing a range of procedures.

When you choose Dr. Zampell or any other board-certified plastic surgeon, you receive your treatments or procedures from a doctor who has met the highest bar in terms of ethical practice, safety, experience, and education. What does board certification mean? In short, it means you’re in the hands of a surgeon who is fully qualified to safely produce the ultimate in patient satisfaction and care.
