Dr. Zampell’s Journey Into Medicine

Dr. Zampell’s passion for excellence in plastic surgical outcomes is rooted in her desire to bridge art and science. She graduated summa cum laude in biology and went on to pursue her medical degree at Ohio State University.

Her unique background in both art and science continues to shape her approach to plastic surgery, allowing her to create natural, harmonious results tailored to each individual. This fusion of creativity and clinical precision is what sets Dr. Zampell apart and drives her commitment to delivering the highest level of care and aesthetic excellence.

Why Board Certification Matters

Board certification is one of the most important indicators of a plastic surgeon’s training, experience, and commitment to patient safety. Surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only plastic surgery board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties, have completed extensive medical education and rigorous, supervised training in both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery.

To earn this credential, surgeons must meet strict eligibility standards and successfully complete a comprehensive oral examination evaluating surgical judgment, technical skill, ethics, and patient safety. Choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon like Dr. Zampell means placing your care in the hands of a physician who meets the highest professional standards and is dedicated to delivering safe, ethical, and high-quality results you can trust.

Dr. Zampell is fantastic! I went to her for a breast reduction and she worked with me and helped me every step of the way, from appealing to my insurance to cover it to checking on me post-surgery. I'm so happy with my results too! I went down 4 sizes and am very happy with my new, light-weighted breasts. I can't recommend her enough.
