We strive to eradicate unnecessary delays and create an easy path to setting up your surgery. Whenever possible we try to combine appointments so that you can spend less time at the office.

Consultation

Dr. Zampell performs a detailed consultation in order to learn the most she can about your wishes and goals for surgery. She performs an in-depth physical evaluation, as well as a thorough review of your medical history in order to create the best action plan possible for your needs.

During the consultation Dr. Zampell will go over before and after pictures with you, and also review photographs that you have brought in reflecting your ideal outcome. She will answer questions regarding your recovery, and what you can expect to experience in terms of discomfort and scarring. She will work with you to ensure that your expectations for your outcome are aligned with her indications for surgery.

Our office will work with you to find the best approach for financing your surgery. We acknowledge the need for an individualized approach, so we can create specific financing possibilities on a case-by-case basis. We offer flexibility with payments, as well as access to many respected healthcare lenders such as Care Credit. Dr. Zampell is an in-network provider with many insurance plans.

The Young Breast Cancer Project

The Young Breast Cancer Project supports young survivors of cancer, early disease detection, health education, female empowerment, and building a thriving community. They raise awareness of young survivors’ stories and create alliances with medical professionals to help save lives. Women diagnosed with cancer before the age of 40 are invited to participate in a photo documentation project that focuses on their unique experiences and journeys. The Young Breast Cancer Project has also hosted social events such as the “Breast Friend Night” to help engage the community and spread awareness about breast health and self-advocacy. Their work was shared at the 2022 AACR Conference with over 20,000 physicians and scientists.
