Meet Dr. Musavi

Dr. Leila Musavi is a plastic surgeon with advanced training in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. She is dedicated to optimizing women’s sense of self and femininity through high-quality, individualized care.

Dr. Musavi graduated summa cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors from Columbia University, majoring in biochemistry. She earned her MD at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, one of the top medical schools in the nation. 

Dr. Musavi completed her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. During residency, she had extensive training in microsurgery, breast, and aesthetic surgery. She built a strong academic record, with over 25 peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters. She presented at multiple national meetings and held leadership roles including chief resident education coordinator. 

She then completed a fellowship in microsurgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, widely regarded as the premier institution for reconstructive plastic surgery. She learned state-of-the-art advanced techniques in microsurgical breast reconstruction, facial reconstruction, and lymphedema care. 

Dr. Musavi’s training informs her meticulous approach to reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. She focuses on balance and refinement to enhance women’s natural beauty. 

Dr. Musavi is fluent in English, Spanish, and Persian, allowing her to communicate with patients in multiple languages. Patients are encouraged to schedule a consultation to discuss their goals with her directly.
