First-Time Patient FAQs

What can I expect during my initial consultation?

During your consultation, Dr. Zampell will perform a detailed physical evaluation and review your medical history to create a personalized action plan. She will discuss your surgical goals, show you before and after photos, and answer any questions you have about recovery and expected results. The goal is to ensure your expectations are realistic and aligned with the best possible surgical outcome.

Do you accept insurance?

Our office works with many insurance plans for reconstructive and some plastic surgery procedures. For cosmetic procedures, while complications are rare, we recommend having insurance to cover any unexpected expenses. Dr. Zampell participates in CosmetAssure, which is a third-party insurance that can be obtained for cosmetic procedures.

What are my financing options?

We offer flexible, individualized financing on a case-by-case basis. We can help you create a specific payment plan and also provide access to respected healthcare lenders like Care Credit.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

To make your first visit as smooth as possible, please bring your insurance card, photo ID, and a list of any medications you are currently taking. If you have any relevant medical records or past surgical reports, it's also helpful to bring those with you.
