Background & Training

After completing her medical degree at Ohio State University, Dr. Zampell went on to pursue a residency in plastic surgery at the elite New York University’s Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. Additionally, she completed a 3-year research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. At Ochsner Medical Center, Dr. Zampell partnered with Dr. Robert Allen, a prestigious pioneer in the realm of autologous flap surgery.
