This patient, diagnosed with an early stage breast cancer, underwent bilateral nipple sparing mastectomy with immediate pre-pectoral (on top of the pectoralis muscle) implant placement.  In this form of reconstruction, the final implant is placed immediately after mastectomy and secured in place with acellular dermal matrix, a collagen matrix that provides an internal scaffolding to prevent implant malposition on the chest wall.  She did not desire further fat grafting.
