This patient underwent bilateral mastectomy and staged reconstruction with SHAEP flaps, using an extended abdomen territory given a smaller overall amount of tissue available in the DIEP flap territory. She is 6 weeks out from her final revision surgery. Her scars will be expected to fade with time.
