This patient developed left breast cancer and elected for bilateral mastectomy. She underwent mastectomy with immediate DIEP flaps and breast lift to reduce the breast and elevate the nipple-areola complex. She is only 6 weeks out from secondary revision surgery in this photo; her scars will soften and fade with time. Her left nipple-areola will be rebuilt from her abdominal skin.
